These Instalment Payment Terms & Conditions apply specifically to customers who choose to book flight tickets through the Book Now Pay Later instalment payment plan offered by Skylines Trips Limited. By opting for an instalment payment plan, you agree to these conditions in full, in addition to our general Terms & Conditions available at skylinestrips.co.uk/terms-conditions/

1. What Is the Book Now Pay Later Service?

Skylines Trips Limited’s Book Now Pay Later service allows UK residents to secure a flight booking today by paying a small initial deposit, then spreading the remaining balance across agreed monthly (or other periodic) instalments – with no credit check, no interest, and no credit agreement involved.

This is not a credit product and is not regulated as a consumer credit agreement under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. It is a straightforward, flexible payment arrangement between you and Skylines Trips Limited.

  • No credit check is required
  • No interest is charged on any instalment amount
  • No credit agreement is formed
  • Your e-ticket is released once your balance is paid in full
  • All payments are fully ATOL-protected from the date of your first payment
  • The price quoted at the time of booking is guaranteed for the full duration of your instalment plan

2. Eligibility

To use our instalment payment plan, you must:

  • Be a UK resident aged 18 or over
  • Provide accurate personal and contact information at the time of booking
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a payment agreement
  • Be able to meet the agreed payment schedule

Skylines Trips Limited reserves the right to decline any instalment booking application at its sole discretion, without being required to give a reason.

3. ATOL Protection – Your Money Is Safe

Every instalment booking made through Skylines Trips Limited is fully ATOL-protected from the moment your first payment is received.

The ATOL (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) scheme, administered by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), means that:

  • Your deposit and all subsequent instalment payments are financially safeguarded
  • In the unlikely event that Skylines Trips Limited becomes insolvent before your travel date, the CAA will protect your money and ensure you are not left out of pocket
  • You will receive an ATOL Certificate upon booking confirmation, which confirms the scope of your financial protection

You do not need to wait until your ticket is issued to be protected – your money is covered from the date of your very first payment. Please retain your ATOL Certificate alongside your booking confirmation for the full duration of your instalment plan.

4. Deposit & Payment Structure

4.1 Initial Deposit

To secure your instalment booking, an initial deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount is the higher of:

  • £75 per booking (minimum), or
  • 10% of the total fare

The deposit is taken immediately upon booking confirmation. This secures your reservation and locks in both your booking reference with the airline and the total fare quoted to you.

4.2 Price Guarantee

Once your deposit has been received and a written payment plan has been agreed, all prices remain subject to change until the tickets have been issued. The quoted fare is not guaranteed and may vary due to factors such as airline pricing, fuel costs, taxes, or exchange rate fluctuations.

The final price is only confirmed once your tickets have been issued, at which point it becomes fixed and no further increases will apply.

4.3 Remaining Balance

The remaining balance – the total fare minus your deposit – will be divided into a payment schedule agreed between you and Skylines Trips Limited at the time of booking.

Payment schedules may be structured as:

  • Monthly instalments
  • Bi-weekly instalments
  • Weekly instalments (available on request)

The agreed payment schedule, including the amount and due date of each instalment, will be confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking. Please retain this written confirmation for your records.

5. Ticket Issuance

Your e-ticket will only be issued once full payment – including all instalments – has been received by Skylines Trips Limited. Until full payment is received:

  • You hold a confirmed booking reference with the airline
  • Your seat is reserved, subject to the airline’s terms
  • You will not be able to check in online or receive a boarding pass

Once your final payment is received, your e-ticket will be issued electronically to the email address provided at the time of booking. You should check the e-ticket immediately upon receipt and report any errors to us without delay.

If you wish to receive your e-ticket sooner, you may choose to pay your remaining balance in full at any point before the scheduled end of your instalment plan.

6. Payment Methods

Instalment payments can be made by:

  • UK debit card (no processing fee)
  • UK credit card (no processing fee)
  • Bank transfer (details provided upon booking)
  • Any other payment method approved by Skylines Trips Limited at the time of booking

Commercial debit/credit cards and international cards may incur an additional processing fee, which will be disclosed before payment is taken.

It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available on your chosen payment method on or before each instalment due date.

7. Missed or Late Payments

7.1 We Are Here to Help

We understand that life can be unpredictable and financial circumstances can sometimes change unexpectedly. If you are facing difficulty making a scheduled payment, please contact us as soon as possible – before the due date wherever possible. Our team will always do their best to work with you and find a solution that keeps your booking on track. As long as the full balance is paid before your agreed final due date, your booking remains secure and your seat is protected.

7.2 Cancellation Due to Non-Payment

In cases where contact is not made and payments are missed without prior arrangement, Skylines Trips Limited reserves the right to cancel the booking. In such circumstances:

  • The deposit will be strictly non-refundable and will be fully forfeited
  • Any instalment payments made beyond the initial deposit may be refundable, subject to the circumstances of the cancellation and any charges applied by the airline or supplier
  • Any applicable cancellation charges may apply, and all deductions will be communicated clearly prior to processing

7.3 Reinstatement

Reinstatement of a cancelled instalment booking is subject to seat availability at the time of reinstatement and may incur additional charges, including any fare difference applicable at that time.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

8.1 Cancellation Before Full Payment (Ticket Not Yet Issued)

If you cancel your instalment booking before full payment is received and before the ticket has been issued:

  • The initial deposit is non-refundable
  • Any service charges or administrative fees are non-refundable
  • Instalment payments made beyond the initial deposit may be refundable, subject to the circumstances of the cancellation and any applicable airline or supplier charges. Each case will be assessed fairly and individually, and we will communicate clearly with you throughout the process

8.2 Cancellation After Full Payment (Ticket Issued)

Once your e-ticket has been issued, standard airline fare rules apply. Refund eligibility depends entirely on the fare type applicable to your ticket. Some fares are fully non-refundable. Others may carry partial refund options, subject to airline cancellation fees.

Where a refund application is submitted on your behalf, an administration charge of £75 per ticket applies. We will always advise you of this before submitting a refund application so you can make an informed decision.

8.3 Refund Processing Time

Airline refunds typically take 10 to 16 weeks from the date of the refund application to be received by us. Once received, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 72 hours. We will keep you updated throughout the process and notify you as soon as your refund has been received and processed.

9. Changes to Your Instalment Booking

9.1 Changes Before Ticket Issuance

Changes to your booking – including travel dates, routing, or passenger names – may be requested in writing before the final instalment is paid and the ticket is issued. All changes are subject to:

  • Airline availability and fare rules at the time of the amendment request
  • An administration fee of £25 per person per change
  • Any applicable fare difference at the time of the change

Please note that certain fare types do not permit any changes, and any amendment request on such tickets may result in a cancellation charge.

9.2 Changes After Ticket Issuance

Once your e-ticket has been issued, any changes are subject to the airline’s standard change and amendment policies. Name changes are not permitted once a ticket has been issued. Issued tickets are non-transferable and cannot be used by any person other than the named passenger.

10. Your Responsibilities

By entering into an instalment payment plan with Skylines Trips Limited, you agree to:

  • Make all scheduled payments on or before their due dates
  • Contact us promptly if you anticipate any difficulty meeting your payment schedule
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate contact and payment details with us throughout the instalment period
  • Retain copies of all payment confirmations and written communications relating to your instalment plan
  • Ensure you hold all required travel documents – including a valid passport and any relevant visas – well before your travel date

Skylines Trips Limited may send you payment reminders by email as a courtesy ahead of your scheduled due dates. However, please note that these reminders are not guaranteed and it remains your responsibility to ensure payments are made on the agreed dates regardless of whether a reminder is received. We recommend keeping a note of your payment schedule from the written confirmation provided at the time of booking. 11. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all instalment plan bookings. Comprehensive travel insurance may provide financial protection in the event of:

  • Inability to travel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances
  • Trip cancellation or curtailment
  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Personal liability

Skylines Trips Limited does not issue insurance policies. We strongly encourage you to arrange appropriate cover independently from a licensed UK insurance provider as soon as your booking is confirmed.

12. Communication

All instalment agreements, payment schedules, and booking confirmations will be provided to you in writing via email. It is your responsibility to:

  • Ensure the email address provided at booking is correct and actively monitored
  • Inform us immediately of any change to your email address or contact details
  • Respond promptly to any communications from us regarding your instalment plan

13. Governing Law

These Instalment Payment Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and form part of your overall booking contract with Skylines Trips Limited, alongside our general Terms & Conditions.
